First, please join us tomorrow at the Medina Library for OutSupport‘s Transgender information Evening. We are thrilled to welcome James Knapp from TranOhio, Jake Nash from Margie’s Hope, Gio Santiago from Equality Ohio, and Dr. Terry Stancin from MetroHealth, among others, to form a panel to discuss Transgender issues. The public is welcome to this program, so invite any friends or others to come and learn more, and to be a better ally to the trans community!
The Ohio Fairness Act has bipartisan support in BOTH Ohio House and Senate! This is huge! Rep. Brett Hillyer (R) from Uhrichsville has put his name on the act, and we should all be gratetful…that’s one more step toward equality here in Ohio! Medina g2h2 Happy Hour (21+) is meeting this month at Thyme Restaurant on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5:30-7:30pm! I hear it’s a fun time with some great people!!

2 Research Studies:
John Carroll University is taking part in a study about unwanted sexual experiences among men, along with Yale University and Nova University, as well as 2 non profits, MaleSurvivor and MenHealing. Attached, please find details about the studies (they are looking for a variety of men).
Also, we’ve been contact to try to help find LGBTQ individuals who have served in the military, to improve health services for LGBTQ Veterans. Please visit
for more information. This has been approved through the VA Puget Sound Health Care System.
Lastly, our next meeting will be 6 years of support meetings in Medina for OutSupport! YAY!!
