We at OutSupport are wishing the best new year for you this year! Whatever that looks like for you, we are happy to do what we can to support you and/or your family, your students, your neighbors and friends on their journey as/with an LGBTQIA+ person. Our first support meeting of the new year will be next Tuesday, January 10 at Unity of Medina, 655 N. Broadway St. in Medina. You may know the building as the former Community Services Center if you live in the Medina area. 7:00-8:30pm…hope to see you there!
If you want to get out there and take a hike in NEOhio’s beautiful Cuyahoga Valley Nat’l Park, and hike with other queer folx, make sure you check out Cuyahoga Valley Queer Hike Facebook group for all the upcoming hikes. If you are not on Facebook. The organizer has told me that friends of OutSupport can email them directly at kmbreedon@gmail.com. for information about the latest hikes. Hikes are rain or shine, so dress accordingly, first Saturday of the month at 10:00 at various locations within the park. This month is an easy hike on the Towpath, meeting at Lock 29 1648 Mill St. Peninsula January 7. Look for a Pride Flag!
A great way to get some fresh air, meet new friends, and move that body!!
Medina Happenings:

**No G2H2 in January….resumes in February!
**PrideTime at Hope Recovery Center for all LGBTQIA+ in recovery Thursdays, 6:30pm
OutSupport and the Medina County Health Dept. continue to encourage smokers and vapors to quit, and the health dept. is there to help you lead a long, happy and healthy life without tobacco! Please see attached graphic for thoughts from a former smoker!
Lastly, this is something that slipped my radar, but wanted folks to be aware of this in NEOhio at the LGBT Center in Cleveland. Formerly known as SAGE, Rainbow Pioneers is a group for older LGBTQIA+ Adults over 50 for activities such as yoga, coffee and conversation, artistic programs, and outings, with boxed lunches to go on Monday, Wed., and Fridays.
